Jessica Bayne

Jessica Bayne helps clients build and protect their legacies as a member of Seltzer Caplan McMahon Vitek’s Estate Planning & Administration practice group. She provides skilled counsel on preserving wealth for future generations and supporting charitable giving during life and after death. Ms. Bayne combines her background in tax law with years of experience in estate planning to thoughtfully and strategically assist people in putting financial, health care and end-of-life plans in place.

Education

Ms. Bayne earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and her law degree from the University of Texas School of Law in Austin. While in law school, she served as chief articles editor for the Texas Intellectual Property Law Journal and won the Marvin Key Collie Presidential Award in Tax Law.

Employment Background

Before joining Seltzer Caplan McMahon Vitek, Ms. Bayne practiced at several California law firms in estate planning. Before that she focused on income tax compliance and planning in a tax CPA firm. She also practiced estate planning and employee benefits law in Austin, Texas.
