Christian G. Heinrich

Associate

Christian Heinrich is an associate with the law firm of Seltzer Caplan McMahon Vitek.  His practice emphasizes estate planning, trust administration and probate.  He is fluent in Italian.


Education Background

Mr. Heinrich received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Brigham Young University in 2002.  He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2005 where he was Notes and Comments editor of the Oregon Review of International Law.  As a law student, Mr. Heinrich had clerkships with law firms in Crotone, Italy and San Francisco, California.

Employment Background

Prior to joining Seltzer Caplan McMahon Vitek, Mr. Heinrich practiced in Orange County, California before becoming an associate at another San Diego law firm.

Representative Matters

  • Assists clients in their estate planning, utilizing wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable gift and insurance trusts, charitable trusts, qualified personal residence trusts, family limited partnerships and limited liability companies
  • Assists fiduciaries and beneficiaries with the administration, division and settlement of trusts
  • Represents executors and administrators during the probate of decedent estates
  • Counsels clients regarding estate, gift and income tax consequences and community/separate property characterization
  • Forms business entities and drafts operating, partnership, and shareholders agreements
