Arezoo Jamshidi Named Among San Diego’s Top 40 Under 40

Congratulations to SCMV Associate Arezoo Jamshidi for being named a Top 40 Under 40 by The Daily Transcript. The 2018 list of honorees represent some the best and brightest young professionals in San Diego County and the impact they are making within the community.

Arezoo is a member of the firm’s Litigation and Appellate Departments. She is a Certified Specialist in Appellate Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization and her practice focuses on representing individual clients and diverse businesses on a wide range of civil litigation and appellate matters before both state and federal courts.

Arezoo is passionate about serving the legal industry and community. She is an active member and past president of the Iranian American Bar Association’s (IABA) San Diego chapter, a professional organization dedicated to educating and informing the Iranian-American community and public at large, as well as government officials, on legal matters of particular concern to the Iranian-American community. She is also active in Lawyers Club of San Diego, helping to advance the status of women in the law and society.

Arezoo has also managed asylum cases as a volunteer attorney with the Casa Cornelia Law Center, a public-interest law firm that provides pro bono legal services to victims of human and civil rights violations, as well as mentored students at Crawford High School through its Academy of Law program, a rigorous course of study that prepares “at-risk’ students for college and legal careers. She also volunteers with YALLA, a San Diego-based college preparatory academy employing soccer to inspire refugee and immigrant youth to achieve a college education. She helped to start and organize the IABA-YALLA Charity Soccer Tournament, raising over $10,000 for the organization thus far.

We are proud of Arezoo and the great strides she has made in her career, the community and at SCMV.
