Laura Nichols Earns Accredited Estate Planner® Designation

SCMV is pleased to announce that Laura Nichols has been certified as an Accredited Estate Planner® for her experience in, commitment to and belief in the team concept of estate planning to fulfill a client’s individual and family needs.

The AEP® designation is a graduate-level specialization in estate planning awarded by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC), a national organization of professional estate planners and planning councils building public awareness and cross-professional teams to better serve the public’s estate-planning needs.

“Laura’s proven commitment to addressing the financial complexities and often highly-emotional elements of estate planning and administration has earned her this exceptional distinction,” said James H. Siegel, leader of SCMV’s Estate Planning & Administration practice group. “We are proud of Laura’s achievements and her continued dedication to serving San Diego families.”

AEP® designees must meet stringent requirements of experience, knowledge, education, professional reputation and character as well as embrace a team approach to estate planning and adhere to the NAEPC Code of Ethics.
