Parisa Weiss Joins La Jolla YMCA Board of Advisors
Congratulations to Parisa Weiss for being elected to serve a three-year term on the La Jolla YMCA’s Board of Advisors.
Since 1964, the La Jolla YMCA has built a stronger local community by empowering local children, families and neighbors to be healthier in mind, body and spirit.
From its two locations, the Dan McKinney Family YMCA and Shepherd YMCA Firehouse, the La Jolla YMCA serves more than 18,000 people throughout La Jolla, University City, north Clairemont, Sorrento Valley, Carmel Valley and north Pacific Beach through a variety of programs, services and outreach that foster youth development, promote healthy living and advance social responsibility. Earlier this year, the Dan McKinney Family site completed the final phase of a $21 million expansion and renovation project.
Parisa, a SCMV shareholder, is committed to serving organizations that, much like the YMCA, give back to the local community. Currently, she is a task force member for the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program’s annual Women and Families Resource Fair, and is a member of the Lawyers Club of San Diego’s Human Trafficking Collaborative.
At SCMV, Parisa focuses her practice on estate planning and probate and trust administration, and represents clients in trust, estate and fiduciary litigation.
