David M. Greeley
Firm Member
David M. Greeley is a shareholder of the firm in the Litigation Department and focuses on business litigation with an emphasis on real estate, construction and title insurance litigation, as well as internal corporate investigations.
Education Background
Mr. Greeley graduated cum laude with a B.A. in American history from Wake Forest University in 1990. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Arizona College of Law in 1998, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and the Symposium Editor of the Arizona Law Review.
Representative Matters
- Obtained summary judgment for title insurance company in defending against complaint for breach-of-title policy and bad-faith denial of claim
- Obtained favorable settlement for publisher following court granting preliminary injunction in business dispute
- Successfully arbitrated real estate seller’s claim against buyer arising out of sale of apartment building
- Conducted internal investigation for major international retail company
- Engaged by Independent Review Organization (“IRO”) to perform duties under Corporate Integrity Agreement involving a pharmaceutical company
- Represent commercial landlords and tenants in unlawful detainers and related disputes
- Represent businesses against misappropriation of trade secret and unfair business practice allegations
- Represent developers and general contractors in construction defect litigation
- Represent homeowners, developers and general contractors in public and private projects involving claims of delay and disruption as well as mechanic’s liens
- Represents homeowners and general contractors in breach of contract and enforcement of mechanic’s lien matters
- Obtained summary judgment and award of attorneys’ fees on three complaints and over fifteen causes of action for CEO of Indian tribe in complex business litigation
