Mr. Morton is an associate in Seltzer Caplan McMahon Vitek’s Litigation Department.

Education

Mr. Morton received his bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University in 2014 where he majored in History. Mr. Morton earned his Juris Doctor from Washington and Lee University, where he graduated cum laude. While in law school, Mr. Morton also served as a Lead Articles Editor for the German Journal, as a legal writing teaching assistant for the Burks Scholar Program, and as President of the Tax Law Society. Mr. Morton received his bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University in 2014 where he majored in History. 

Employment Background

Before joining SCMV, Mr. Morton served as a Trial Attorney in the United States Department of Justice, Tax Division, where he represented the United States in civil tax matters in federal district and bankruptcy courts around the country. He also served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Dana M. Sabraw, District Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California and Chief Special Master Brian H. Corcoran of the United States Court of Federal Claims.
