Mr. Gray’s practice focuses on a variety of civil litigation and white collar defense areas including an appellate practice. A seasoned trial lawyer, Mr. Gray has extensive experience in the courtroom and is a polished and skilled advocate. Mr. Gray guides clients throughout the litigation process from pre-litigation strategy through law and motion practice, hearings, and trials in order to meet his client’s litigation and business objectives. Mr. Gray endeavors to make complicated legal issues understandable and assessable to his clients, so his clients can clearly understand all litigation strategies. Mr. Gray’s clients know they are engaging a trusted member of the team who is always looking out for their best interests.
Mr. Gray received his Bachelor of Arts in English from Vassar College in 1997. Mr. Gray attended Emory University School of Law where he received his law degree in 2007. While at Emory Law School, Mr. Gray served on the Emory Law Journal and received the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Property.
Mr. Gray joined Seltzer Caplan McMahon Vitek after working as a Deputy Public Defender in San Diego where he represented indigent individuals charged with criminal offenses ranging from juvenile proceedings to adults facing misdemeanors and felonies. Mr. Gray also engaged in an appellate practice filing writs and other legal motions in the appellate court as well as representing clients seeking post-conviction relief. Mr. Gray is an accomplished trial lawyer; he tried over forty cases on behalf of his clients many of whom received superior outcomes at verdict. Mr. Gray’s motion practice led to many successful and dispositive outcomes on behalf of his clients prior to trial.
Prior to law school, Mr. Gray worked in New York as a real estate agent and an advertising executive.
