Education
Mr. Gray received his Bachelor of Arts in English from Vassar College in 1997. Mr. Gray attended Emory University School of Law where he received his law degree in 2007. While at Emory Law School, Mr. Gray served on the Emory Law Journal and received the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Property.
Employment Background
Mr. Gray joined Seltzer Caplan McMahon Vitek after working as a Deputy Public Defender in San Diego where he represented indigent individuals charged with criminal offenses ranging from juvenile proceedings to adults facing misdemeanors and felonies. Mr. Gray also engaged in an appellate practice filing writs and other legal motions in the appellate court as well as representing clients seeking post-conviction relief. Mr. Gray is an accomplished trial lawyer; he tried over forty cases on behalf of his clients many of whom received superior outcomes at verdict. Mr. Gray’s motion practice led to many successful and dispositive outcomes on behalf of his clients prior to trial.
Prior to law school, Mr. Gray worked in New York as a real estate agent and an advertising executive.
