Tyler Dunne is an associate in Seltzer Caplan McMahon Vitek’s Litigation Department

Education

Mr. Dunne received his bachelor’s degree from Saint Mary’s College of California in 2022 where he majored in English, with an emphasis in Dramatic and Film Arts, and minored in Cinematic Arts. He earned his law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2025.

While in law school, Mr. Dunne served as a managing editor for the San Diego International Law Journal and had his article, “Preserving Diversity After Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard: A Comparison of the History of Affirmative Action in the United States and India”, published by SDILJ. He also received a CALI in his Transactional Intellectual Property class and honors in his Alternate Dispute Resolution, Experiential Advocacy Practicum, and Negotiation classes.

Employment Background

Before joining the firm, Mr. Dunne served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Jinsook Ohta, District Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California.
