About the Recognition
Super Lawyers recognizes attorneys through a multiphase selection process that includes nominations, independent research, and peer evaluations. Candidates are assessed using 12 indicators of professional achievement and peer recognition. Each year, no more than five percent of attorneys in each state are selected to the Super Lawyers list.
The Rising Stars list recognizes attorneys who are 40 years old or younger or have practiced for 10 years or less. Selection follows the same evaluation process, with no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in each state receiving the distinction.
