SCMV shareholder Dan Eaton, alongside Karen Hawkins, former director of the IRS Office of Professional Responsibility, will provide a detailed ethics course, covering the many ethical issues to consider before and during representation when representing clients with respect to tax matters. SCMV associate Katrina Wu is also scheduled to present a detailed analysis of qualified opportunity zones and their tax-incentives. Another popular topic to be covered at the seminar will be an overview of the final 199A Regulations.
